Digital Privacy Tips for Abortion Seekers

On June 24, 2022, the U.S Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending a nearly 50-year constitutional right to an abortion. As states ban and implement severe restrictions on abortion access, individuals seeking reproductive health care may be at risk of having their online data collected and used against them.

While the U.S does not have a national privacy law, there are steps that everyone can take to prevent their data from being collected and shared with prosecutors.


In response to the Supreme Court decision, Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC developed the following in-language resources to help abortion seekers learn how to protect their data from being tracked when obtaining reproductive healthcare.
