"Everyone, regardless of what they look like or where they come from, deserves to be safe in their community.

Under this administration, we have seen an escalation of violence by ICE agents who have terrorized immigrant communities without regard for the Constitution, American values, or simple human decency.

"We stand with immigrant communities in Minnesota and across the U.S. as we mourn the senseless killing of Renee Nicole Good and other community members who have died because of this administration, whether during immigration raids like the one being carried out in Minneapolis, in immigration detention, or at the border.

"As we continue to grapple with the escalating violence of this administration, we urge our community members to engage with organizations who are working on the ground in Minnesota, including HAP, MN8, CAPI, and Future of Us.

"These community partners are fighting for a future where all communities, including immigrant communities, feel safe and welcome."
