President Joe Biden signs into law the establishment of a commission to study the creation of a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture

President Joe Biden Monday signed into law the establishment of a commission to study the creation of a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture.

The bill originally introduced by Rep Grace Meng (D-NY) in 2015 passed both houses of Congress earlier this year.

John C. Yang, president and executive director of Asian Americans Advancing Justice – AAJC quoted:

“It is through education that we can begin to dispel myths and develop a greater understanding of the diverse communities that comprise the fabric of American society.”
