Bernice Guity
Bernice Guity is the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for the Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC. In this role, Bernice leads the Human Resources, Payroll and Labor Relations for the organization.
Bernice brings 25 years of experience in unionized and nonunionized workplaces in DC, Maryland, Florida, and Georgia. Her background includes Human Resources Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Design and Cultural Development, Total Rewards, Learning and Development, Compensation, Benefits Administration, Labor Relations, and Employment Matters. She has worked in the fields of Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education, and Nonprofits.

Her educational background, combined with her extensive professional experience, has shaped her ability to navigate the complexities of human resource management with a strategic and people-focused approach.
Bilingual in Spanish, Bernice earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Bethune Cookman College (now University) in Daytona Beach, Florida. She also holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Strayer University in Atlanta, GA. Bernice is a native of Brooklyn, NY and she is a Fur Mom to a 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier.
