Civil and human rights organizations write to express opposition to harmful provisions included in Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act
December 10, 2025
Dear Member of Congress,
Letter from 130 Organizations Calling to Restore Humanitarian Protections and a Fair, Humane Immigration Program
Dear President Trump,
Comment from Asian Americans Advancing Justice Affiliation on Interim Final Rule “Removal of the Automatic Extension of Employment Authorization Documents"

Letter Opposing House Appropriation Subcommittee’s Bill Proposing Re-establishment of ‘China Initiative’
Dear Chairman Tom Cole and Ranking Member Rosa DeLauro,
Asian Americans Advancing Justice - AAJC joins Human Rights First and 36 organizations, representing civil and human rights advocates, veterans, and concerned citizens, to strongly urge rejection of Anthony Tata, Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, confirmation.
Opposing this bill should not be a partisan matter. While adding trillions to our national debt, this bill will strip health care coverage for millions of families. It will plunge our communities into deeper food insecurity and deepen the poverty chasm for nearly 4.5 million children of immigrants, all to pay for tax cuts for billionaires and corporations and unprecedented, unaccountable funds for mass deportation. Members of Congress should support legislation that keeps our communities safe and healthy, not increase hardship for everyday people just trying to survive.
