The Advancing Justice affiliation with pro bono counsel, Ballard Spahr, submitted a separate amicus brief [Insert Link] joined by 37 Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) civil rights groups, advocacy organizations, professionals, and student organizations in support of race-conscious admissions programs that improve equal access to educational opportunities for all.

Asian Americans Advancing Justice - AAJC, Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote), and AAPI Data released their bi-annual report measuring Asian American sentiment and attitudes on the issues top of mind in the lead-up to the 2022 midterm elections. The survey revealed many insights into one of the fastest-growing racial groups in the United States, including their voting plans for House and Senate races in 2022, and various issue priorities such as education, healthcare, gun control, environment, and the state of the economy.

Advancing Justice – AAJC, LDF, and LatinoJustice PRLDEF filed this amicus brief on behalf of their clients the Virginia State Conference of the NAACP, TJ Alumni for Racial Justice, CASA Virginia, Hispanic Federation, Asian American Youth Leadership Empowerment and Development, and the Hamkae Center to affirm their support for race-neutral policies that increase diversity, provide fairer access to education, and are in line with the Equal Protection Clause.
