WASHINGTON, D.C. — October 30, 2024 — Today, the Supreme Court allowed Virginia state officials to proceed with removing roughly 1,600 voters from the state's registration lists just days before the presidential election, threatening the registration of eligible voters. However, this is an egregious violation of the National Voter Registration Act, which prohibits the removal of voters from rolls within 90 days of an election.
