Yoon-Young Lee

Yoon-Young Lee is a partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in its Washington D.C. office. Yoon-Young is the co-chair of the firm’s Securities and Financial Regulation practice. Her practice involves advising broker-dealers, banks, and other financial institutions on various regulatory and compliance matters. She joined the firm in 1988 and has been a member of various firm committees, including the firm's Management Committee, Diversity Committee, and Compensation Committee.  

Yoon-Young has been recognized since 2008 as a national leader in financial services regulation: broker dealer regulation by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. She was named to the Washington Business Journal's "Minority Business Leaders" list in 2014 and highlighted as a leading Rainmaker in 2008 by Diversity & the Bar magazine, a publication of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.

Yoon-Young is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University (B.A., Political Science) and received her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School. She resides in Maryland with her husband and two daughters.
