Danielle Wong is the Multi-Media Strategic Communications Fellow at Advancing Justice | AAJC, where she is responsible for assisting the creation and implementation of the organization's digital advocacy initiatives.
Prior to joining Advancing Justice | AAJC, Danielle freelanced as a multi-media journalist for various organizations, including Minnesota Public Radio News’ mental health awareness program, Call to Mind. She also developed curriculum and led a TV Broadcast Camp for ThreeSixty Journalism, a non-profit in Minnesota that equips diverse youth with the tools to tell their own stories. Danielle volunteers as the Strategic Communications Coordinator for WOC Book Club and writes for Parachute Media, a modern and inclusive media brand that centers, reclaims, and empowers women of color and gender non-conforming POC narratives.
Danielle received her B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in Communications and Journalism. During her time in college, she was heavily involved in shaping diversity and equity policies and led several initiatives to advocate for women of color victim/survivors of sexual assault.
